Take a tea cup from the cupboard and add between 1/4 tsp. and 1 full tsp. of cayenne pepper to the bottom of the cup.

Add approximately 2 tbsp. of tap water to the cup.

Stir the water and cayenne pepper together until the cayenne is dissolved in the water. It will be slightly orange-red in color. It may appear that there are tiny particles suspended in the water. Make sure that there are no large clumps in the bottom of the cup.

Swirl the cup slightly and then drink the contents in one gulp.

Don't get any of the cayenne in your eye.
To relieve the burning sensation in your mouth, take a small piece of bread, a drink of milk, or a bite of ice cream.
